Virgin Media Is Adding Classic Sporting Content To Choice On Demand Service

Virgin Media is adding ESPN Classic content to Virgin’s TV Choice on Demand service from 14th February,increasing the range of sporting content available on the service.
ESPN Classic on Demand will offer some of the most memorable moments and matches from football, rugby and cricket, as well as great Wimbledon finals and a variety of award-winning documentaries such as the ground-breaking ESPN “30 For 30” film series.
Rugby fans will be able to view a host of ‘Best Ever Rugby Matches and footy fanatics can catch up with some outstanding matches from the last five seasons of the Premier League.
Other great sporting features on the ESPN Classic on Demand service (available at no extra cost to ‘XL’ TV customers) will be some of crickets best players in “Legends of Cricket” and turning to sporting icones, the legendary 1974 “An Audience with Muhammad Ali” is not to be missed.
With 20 hours of sporting action available on demand, and fresh content updated every month, Virgin Media sports fans will be able to enjoy an extensive range of classic moments whenever they want, at the touch of a button.
In addition, customers using Virgin Media’s Online Player (available to XL TV customers only with a Virgin Media broadband connection) will also be able to enjoy a selection of shows from ESPN Classic wherever they have a broadband connection.
