Commercial van drivers or perhaps the "White Van Men" of Britain as they are affectionately known, really do need to protect themselves with van insurance cover.
Van drivers are continually out on the road, often having to stop and load or unload items in busy areas. Roads are invariably busy and often narrow, not ideal to drive the larger commercial van down and certainly not park it.

Van insurance normally also include extras such as tool and contents cover, replacement vans and breakdown cover.
Due to the high usage of vans they are often more prone to breakdown so breakdown cover is often bundled in with insurance making things easier for both parties.
With prices for van insurance premium being so varied across the market it is definitely wise to shop around when searching for new insurance to ensure that you get the best deal. Remember though to consider your own requirements and make sure that these are reflected in the insurance cover being offered. There is no point taking the cheapest van insurance quote if in fact it doesn't give you what you need. The last thing you can afford is to minimise your insurance costs and then find that if you need to make a claim you are not covered.
There are many online van insurance providers and it is quite straight forward to get a quote from them and in many cases buy your insurance there and then. Ideal as it means you can buy van insurance at a time to suit you, not necessarily during the standard working day.
