Virgin Media’s next generation broadband complete

Virgin Media, provider of fibre optic broadband services, complete its next generation broadband network this month.

Virgin Media 50Mb fibre optic broadbandVirgin Media has been working for 18 months on increasing its network capacity and offering ultrafast broadband speeds of up to 50Mb to over 12 million homes.

Virgin Media already offer some great broadband deals.

Executive director of broadband at Virgin Media, Jon James, comments ‘We are delighted with the performance and reliability of our 50Mb service, and with customer feedback.

Now the roll-out is days from being complete, we’re ready to take 50Mb to the next stage of development and reinforce our leading position in the broadband market.’

The company is already piloting 200Mb fibre optic broadband speeds in Ashford, Kent.

It is also piloting faster upload speeds, up to 10Mb. Critically this trial will explore the demand for higher upstream broadband speeds to support video conferencing, multiplayer gaming and home working.

      Va Va Viva 50MB broadband for low price . We are in another planet now. Let the race began and bring other companies bring there speed. I signed up few days ago and not yet installed so i think i should cancell it and wait for the offer and netbook to come.
