Virgin Media is launching a new TV ad promoting Virgin mobile and using mobile internet.
The ad, the second in Virgin Media’s ‘Powerful Stuff’ series, features alternative rock band, Mazzy Star and their ‘Into Dust’ song – somewhat different to the previous campaigns which featured such as Kate Moss, Christina Aguilera and Busta Rhymes.
There are currently some great Virgin mobile deals which include unlimited web access, on both pay monthly and pay as you go tariffs.
No doubt this multi-million pound ad run will generate significant interest in these deals.
Executive director of brand and marketing at Virgin Media said ‘We wanted to engage people on an emotional level and show them just how much the mobile internet can bring to them, from social media and music to film clips and games, all for less than the price of a packet of crisps.’
The 60 second ad launches tomorrow, 24 June and runs for 5 weeks. It was created by RKCY, Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R.
