Virgin Media 50Mb broadband cut in price

Virgin Media has cut the cost of it’s 50Mb Broadband XXL offering to just £18 per month for the first 3 months, and just £28 per month after that, plus a Virgin Phone Line.

Virgin Media Broadband XXL 50Mb Broadband bundleThe Virgin Media XXL 50Mb broadband is available for new customers, offering speeds up to 50Mb.

Without a Virgin Phone Line, the XXL 50Mb deal is £33 for the first 3 months and £38 after that.

As James Parker, broadband manager at moneysupermarket.com, comments ‘The deal from Virgin offers great value for money on a package with unrivalled speed. For those people who download a lot of sream music or TV through Spotify or iPlayer then this deal will be hard to beat.’

As you can see on the Virgin Media website, the Broadband XXL package also includes

  • Free modem to connect your modem to send and receive data over the internet
  • Free wireless router so you can use the internet anywhere in your home, with multiple people using it at the same time
  • Free online storage
  • Free photos – with V Stuff you can print up to 100 of your photos free each month
  • Free PCguard Total – PC security powered by Kaspersky which includes anti-virus protection and anti-spyware protection

There’s also the option to save money on a broadband deal if you opt for a broadband bundle – where you purchase a combination of broadband, phone, TV and mobile phone from the same supplier.
