Travel insurance provider AllClear is offering single trip insurance over the summer which includes a redundancy cash-back cover.

AllClear Travel InsuranceWith many providers competing for your travel insurance business, it is great to see an innovative cover added to a policy that could really help in this recession when many are facing the threat of redundancy.

You can compare travel insurance quotes on comparsion websites such as Confused.com or if you know there’s particular cover you need, like this redundancy cash-back from AllClear, you can buy directly from the provider.

The new cover provides insurance against the forced cancellation of a holiday through redundancy.

The difference though is that it also contributes 50% of the cost of the trip for those made redundant but who decide not to cancel their trip.

The cover is available for any traveller on the policy under 65 who is made redundant.

They have to have been with the same employer for more than 2 years and work at least 16 hours per week.

The maximum payment per insured person in £800, or £500 for holidays in Europe.

As Ian Sykes, from AllClear, comments ‘Being made redundant is bad enough but it is doubly so when that means having to cancel a well-earned break. Our policy gives them an alternative. ‘
