The new iPod nano with video and FM radio has arrived – a quick review following the Apple event yesterday at which Steve Jobs, co-founder and CEO of Apple, unveiled the new iPod line-up.

Apple iPod Nano video, iPod Shuffle, iPod TouchThe new iPod nano has a built-in video but there’s no change in the size of the iPod itself so it’s still just as easy to carry around.

It’s available in 9 colours and you can buy the iPod nano video for £115 for an 8GB version or £135 for one with 16 MB.

You can even add special effects to your video and it’s easy to sync the iPod with your computer so you can edit and then email or post it on YouTube or Facebook for friends to see your masterpiece.

The iPod nano has a built-in FM tuner. Great in itself but even better you can pause what you’re listening to with a simple click and then start again with another. If you want to hear what you’ve missed you can rewind up to 15 minutes.

There’s also an integrated pedometer for those that need one.

The iPod shuffle has been halved in size but it can hold up to 500 songs with its 2GB storage or up to 1,000 songs on the 4GB version.

There’s also a 64GB version now of the iPod touch media player. It can hold up to 80 hours of video, and 14,000 songs and on audio playback the battery is expected to last 30 hours.

You can buy the 64GB iPod Touch for £299 or there’s the 8GB version at £149 or the 32GB at £229.
