Scottish and Southern have today launched a new energy plan, the ‘Altlantic Online Fixed Price’, which is the best offering of the ‘Big 6′ energy suppliers in four of the UK energy regions. Is it time to switch energy supplier?

The new online energy plan has a fixed rate until 31 August 2011 and it doesn’t have any standing charge, meaning customers only pay for the energy that they use.

With the energy suppliers competing strongly for new business, there are often good incentives and cheaper energy prices offered to entice you to switch.
