Save money with free energy offer

There’s an opportunity to save money with a free energy for a year offer from moneysupermarket.com.

They’re giving away free energy for a year to one person drawn from those who have entered their competition by entering their details to switch energy supplier.

The competition runs to midnight on 26 June 2009, entries received after this won’t be entered into the draw.

The first prize of the free energy is worth £1,300.

There are also 10 runners-up prizes of £300 to pay this year’s energy bill at last year’s prices.

Manager of utilities at moneysupermarket.com, Scott Byrom, said ‘This is a great opportunity for lucky customers to make even more of a saving on their bills. Anyone who has never changed their energy supplier can make a saving by moving on to a better value deal but winning free energy for a year or an extra £300 off their bill will be a much welcome bonus.’

The draw will take place between 26th Jun and 10th July 2009 and the winner will be notified by email and/or telephone.

An interesting twist on getting customers to switch energy supplier, but a great opportunity to try and save money in this time of recession.
