Save money on home insurance from Direct Line

Home insurance from Direct Line is now available to new customers with a 50% discount.

Home insurance is highly competitive and to attract new customers Direct Line is offering its home cotents insurance at half price.

The offer, available until the end of September, applies to new customers purchasing just contents insurance or both contents and  buildings insurance.

As Direct Line points out, this way tenants and flat owners will also be able to save money with the discount.

Head of Direct Line Home Insurance, Andrew Lowe, said ‘There are always unexpected costs during the summer, whether they be a much needed get-away, or entertainment for children during the school holidays. We want to help people cut costs where we can, so we’re cutting the price of new contents insurance policies in half.’

Direct Line, established in 1985, is part of RBS Insurance and is owned by the Royal Bank of Scotland Group.

Whilst many insurance providers participate in home insurance comparison websites, Direct Line does not.
