Over £43 billion will be spent on holidays this summer and many will take multiple holidays to escape ‘recession depression’, so is it best to take out multi trip travel insurance to save money?
As research from Sainsbury’s travel insurance shows, Britons plan to take some 56 million holidays this summer, spending over £43 billion on them.
Even though sterling isn’t doing so well against the Euro, over a third of people are planning a trip to the Eurozone.
With over 16 million planning to take more than one holiday, is it best for these people to get multi trip travel insurance to save money?
Absolutely, you can compare travel insurance policies using a comparison websites such as Confused.com to see what is on offer, comparing single and multi trip travel insurance.
Sam Marrs, Sainsbury’s Travel Insurance Manager, comments ‘The millions of people who are going on holiday more than once this summer would be well-advised to buy a multi trip travel insurance policy before they go away, as they can make significant savings by doing so rather than buying single trip policies.’
You can also buy travel insurance online direct from many providers, including Sainsburys and Direct Line and Churchill for example.
