Prepaid currency cards for holiday travel money

Prepaid currency cards are becoming more popular for holiday travel money.

Basically you load up currency cards with your chosen holiday travel money – US Dollars, Euros or British Pounds – before travel.

You can then use the card as you want around the world – in shops, restaurants, hotels, cash machines etc.

As they’re growing in popularity, so too are the number of currency card providers, including Lloyds TSB, Travelex, FairFX and Caxton FX.

Check out the FairFX YouTube ad above.

MoneyHighStreet currently has a special reader offer with FairFX

You can get a FREE FairFX currency card here – just sign up and load €10 and get the card free – it usually costs £9.95.
