NatWest Student Package with benefits launched

The NatWest Student Package for 2009  is launched this week, providing a bank account package with financial benefits and incentives, including the popular Railcard.

The Student Package has a range of benefits and incentives, including

Interest free overdraft facility – whilst based on a student’s individual circumstances, suggested overdraft limits are 1st year £1250, 2nd year £1400, 3rd year £1600, 4th year £1800, 5th year £2,000, interest free

Railcard – 5 year for age 16-25. This is worth £130 and gives students a one third discount on most rail fares across Britain each time it’s used. It can also be used to get discounts at high street and online stores.

Other disounts

  • £100 off selected ASUS laptopos
  • 50% off the starter pack for 3 Pay as You Go Mobile Broadband
  • Free 4GB USB stick with additional security software worth £31 if a student opens their account online.

Head of NatWest Student and Graduate Banking, said ‘The NatWest 2009 student package has evolved in response to what students have told us really matters to them, like the 5-year 16-25 Railcard worth £130. NatWest also offers genuine student expertise allowing us to give each of our student customers the additional support they may need at this new and exciting time in their lives.’

NatWest has over 50 dedicated branches at University locations across the UK.

They also offer a Graduate Package to which there is an automatic upgrade to after graduation with 3 more year’s interest free overdraft facilities.
