Travellers who are no longer travelling to Mexico as a result of the swine flu but who have already purchased their US Dollars or Mexican Pesos from M&S Money can get a full refund.
M&S Money has offered a full refund to customers on their travel currency, Mexican Pesos or US Dollars, until close of play on 8th May.
The refund will equal the full amount of sterling paid.
With so many Mexico flights, package holidays and cruises now cancelled this may help some customers.
As M&S Travel Money Manager, James Yerkess, commented ‘We sympathise with all those who have been disappointed by the loss of their holiday. By offering to refund the foreign currency in full at the same rate to which they bought it, we are hopefully taking away some of the disappointment caused to M&S customers.’
Whether the currency was bought at an M&S bureau, via the internet or telephone, the refund offer is available.
M&S Money (the trading name of Marks & Spencer Financial Services) was founded as the financial services division of Marks and Spencer, it was sold to HSBC in 2004, ‘the world’s local bank’.
