Buying the right home insurance can be a difficult task but using input from the experts and taking time to compare what’s being offered can help make it easier.
Halifax Home Insurance recently published their ‘Peace of Mind’ report which highlighted that
- 64% worry about their house being burgled
- 44% about fire
- 28% about burst pipes and
- 10% about floods
Many think that leaving the light on for example will help guard against burglary, but is this enough?
What happens to a home insurance claim if you mistakenly leave a window open?
To get expert input to help, you might like to join in on a Web TV show with Martyn Foulds from Halifax Home Insurance.
He’ll be live online on 10 July and will discuss Home Insurance.
To compare home insurance policies there are many comparison websites, such as Gocompare.com, Confused.com and Comparethemarket.com, who can help you easily compare quotes and see what is covered for what price.
