Energy prices have finally been cut by the main energy suppliers and for those who have been waiting for this before they switch energy supplier the time may now be here.
With renewed energy deals being offered, this summer could be the time to consider switching energy supplier.
You can compare energy deals on websites such as Which? Switch or iSwitch.
As Alison Morrison of Which? Switch comments, ‘Now that all of the major energy companies have cut their prices, this could be a great opportunity to switch suppliers or tariffs. It seems strange to think about your heating bills in summer, but this is a decision that could benefit customers all year round.’
Switching supplier to save money is one option.
You may also be able to get a better energy deal simply by switching to a different tariff with your existing supplier – moving to an online account and paying by direct debit for example could help reduce your bills.
