The ‘Big Six’ UK energy providers seem to be entering into an energy price war – E.ON and Scottish power have just launched new tariffs, who’s next?
Fist, E.ON announced its Fix Online V3 tariff at £981.14 on average.
Scottish Power responded with their new Online Energy Saver 7, the best energy deal in a number of regions and at an average of £975 the cheapest of the ‘Big 6′, undercutting the likes of British Gas and EDF Energy.
But there are some smaller energy providers, such as First Utility and OVO Energy which are making there mark.
Whilst the move by Scottish Power means they are cheaper than First Utility, OVO Energy are on average the cheapest in a number of regions and cheapest energy provider overall at £967.
With the energy price war hotting up it really is going to pay to look around the market to find the best deal to suit you.
