The famous and cuddly Churchill Car Insurance dog is now available as a toy

Famous for its “Oh Yes” saying and its cuddly warm nature, your can now own your very own Churchill dog – the star of the car and home insurance adverts.

The soft cuddly toy is available from a number of leading retailers such as Clinton cards, Toys ‘R’ Us, Halfords and Amazon.co.uk.  It retails for £14.99.

You can also get car insurance or buy Churchill from the Churchill Insurance Website.  For every toy sold through their website, Churchill will donate £1.99 to Dog’s Trust UK, one of the largest dog welfare charities.

The Churchill dog came to being when staff at Churchill Insurance competed to find ways to differentiate the insurance brand from the other famous Churchill – Winston Churchill, in 1994.

An instant success, Churchill has now appeared on many TV adverts alongside stars such as Melanie Sykes in Paris and Rolf Harris.
