Carphone Warehouse launches mobile phone trade-in calculator

Carphone Warehouse has launched a mobile phone trade-in calculator which helps you find out how much your old mobile phone is really worth.

Unlike some trade-in offers, which give a flat rate for your old mobile phone, this trade-in calculator ensures you get a trade-in price set specifically for your make and model of phone.

Whilst it is accepted that the phone will have been subject to normal wear and tear, it needs to generally be in a good state for a trade-in – power up and charge, not have excessive damage, look good and have no evidence of any liquid damage.

With so many people regularly changing their mobile phone, Carphone Warehouse reckon there is a huge amount of cash that people are losing out on by not trading-in their old one.

It’s easy to find out what your old mobile phone is worth on the Carphone Warehouse website, only the serial number or IMEI needs to be entered. You can find this out by entering ‘*#06#’ into the phone.

So, you never know, you might be able to afford that new mobile phone after all!
