Barclays has launched its new student bank account package, which as with the student packages from NatWest, Lloyds and HSBC, includes specific bank account benefits and other rewards.
A Barclays Student Additions bank account includes an interest-free overdraft facility up to £2,000 for the duation of their univeristy studies.
If additional overdraft facilities are required, up to a further £1,000 can be added at a rate of 8.9%.
