Alliance & Leicester are bringing back their switch current account £100 incentive.
Alliance & Leicester are offering £100 to those customers who switch to either their
- Premier Current Account or
- Premier 50 Current Account.
The offer is only available from 30 April to 28 May 2009 and to qualify the current account application must be made online.
According to Alliance & Leicester there are further advantages to having a Premier Current Account:
- 0% fee-free agreed overdraft for first year. After this a fee of 50p per day will be charged if the overdraft is used, with a maximum monthly charge of £5
- Free annual multi-trip European travel insurance, value up to £60
- No monthly fee
- Easy switching service for your salary, direct debits and standing orders
The offer is not available to existing Alliance & Leicester or Abbey current account holders.
The £100 payment will be made within 4 months of opening the account as long as it has been funded with at least £500 within 11 weeks of opening and direct debits and standing orders have been transferred using the Alliance & Leicester Premier Switching Service.
Alliance and Leicester (and Abbey) are part of Santander, along with the savings business of Bradford & Bingley.
