Abbey Student Accounts will be giving £50 away an hour in September in their ‘Money for Nothing’ prize draw.
The £50 prize mirrors the £50 cash bonus offered to new Abbey Student Account holders when they open a Student Account.
The Money for Nothing prize draw will be held on the hour every day throughout September.
Registration starts on Monday 24 August on the Abbey Student Facebook application.
Head of Abbey Current Accounts, Gillian Almond, said ‘We know that money is pretty hard to come by when you are a student, which is why we provide £50 in cash and a very good in-credit interest rate on our Student Account.
There is also an interest free overdraft to help with initial outgoings, or unexpected living costs.’
The Money for Nothing prize draw is open to both customers and non-customers who are UK residents and aged 16 or over.
Abbey is part of Santander and it, Alliance & Leicester and the savings part of Bradford & Bingley will all become known as Santander by the end of 2010.
