An innovative video game system is embodied in the Nintendo Wii. But before you jump in and buy it, read our Nintendo Wii review which showcases the features of this great games console.

Nintendo wii The motion-sensitive controller, known as the Wii Remote, is a key accessory that more and more people are interested in with this games console. Each Wii game takes you to an amusing world of 3D fun. Inviting others to play with you is not a problem either. The console has built-in WiFi accessibility and wireless standard Bluetooth. And up to 4 Wii-motes can be connected to the console!

Storing images and other media can be easily done with the Wii’s capacity of 512 MB internal flash memory. And if that isn’t enough, the SD memory card slot and two USB 2.0 ports enable greater expansion. Accessories like the Nunchuck Controller, Light Gun, Perfect Shot gun, Wii Wand and Racing Steering Wheel heighten the fun.

The Nintendo Wii channels bring out specific gaming and entertainment capabilities:

Disc Channel – allows you to play Wii game discs or Nintendo GameCube classics

Mii Channel – create your own caricature portrait and store it on your Wii Remote

Photo Channel – store digital pictures via SD memory card or USB flash drive

Internet Channel – get connected to the virtual world. Be in the know of the latest information on weather (Forecast Channel), current events (News Channel) and Wii products (Wii Shop).

Message Board – forget sticking those little notes on your fridge. This feature permits you to send messages to other cell phones through the WiiConnect24.

Just as the product features seem amazing, so are the reviews about this games console:

‘I had been thinking about getting the Wii for some time but was concerned it would spoil my high tech living room. The black version however looks fantastic and, without the stand in use, lays discretely on my TV unit. It’s surprisingly small and, though I am loathed to admit it, looks cool. It also plays great too.’   From Amazon

‘This is a great package at a great price. There are a good amount of great games for the Wii among most genres.’   From Play.com
