iPhone – where can you get the best deals now

The news that Tesco Mobile is to sell the iPhone is going to shake up the market, but where can you get the best deals right now?  We show you in this article.

The iPhone has taken the world by storm and is one of the hottest “must have” gadgets available now.  Its not just an icon to show off, it is actually a highly useful and well designed smartphone – “smart” in every sense of the word.

No wonder that it is so popular and successful.  No wonder that retailers and mobile phone network providers are competing very hard to offer the best deals. Let them battle it out as we, the consumer, win with more competitive prices and better deals.  So where can you find the best iPhone deals now?

The cheapest Orange iPhone deals

£29.36 per month, 18 months contract, 8GB iPhone costs £96.50, 150 free minutes, 250 texts (equivalent to £34.72 per month inclusive of phone purchase)

If you need more free minutes and are happy to extend your contract length to 24 months then Orange offer the following deal:

£34.26 per month, 24 months contract, 8GB iPhone FREE, 600 free minutes, 500 texts.

The cheapest O2 iPhone deals

£29.38 per month, 18 months contract, 8GB iPhone costs £96.89, 75  free minutes, 125 texts (equivalent to £34.76 per month inclusive of phone purchase)

£34.26 per month, 24 months contract, 8GB iPhone FREE, 600 free minutes, 500 texts.

Another interesting point – the 600 free minute deals for O2 and Orange are exactly the same.  The cheapest O2 tariff does look uncompetitive alongside the cheapest Orange tariff as there are less minutes and less texts and yet the monthly prices are almost identical.  Click here for the cheapest O2 iPhone deals

The Tesco Mobile iPhone deals

Tesco is offering a 12 month contract for £20 per month, inclusive of £60 worth of calls and text. The iPhone itself though costs £407 for the 32GB model or £320 for the 16GB.

For £60 per month you can get a 16GB iPhone free on a 24 month contract with unlimited minutes and texts.

Vodafone – the iPhone will be available from Vodafone 14 January 2010.

The cheapest iPhone deal at Vodafone will be £30 for a 24 month contract, including 300 mintes and unlimited texts. With this deal, the 16GB iPhone costs £149 or the 32GB costs £239.
