Discontent with energy providers ''on the rise among consumers''

Customer dissatisfaction regarding utilities firms is on the increase, new figures suggest.
According to uSwitch, a financial website, the number of people who are not content with their energy provider has risen from 33 per cent to 41 per cent in a month.
A minority (45 per cent) of poll respondents said that their supplier was giving them "good value for money".
High wholesale gas and electricity prices have driven up costs from the firms recently.
British Gas even imposed a 35 per cent increase on some tariffs over the summer.
Ann Robinson, consumer policy director at uSwitch.com, said: "Price rises were never going to be a vote winner but this year''s increases have hit people exceptionally hard and inevitably it has damaged their perception of the industry.
"Sadly this has undone a lot of the hard work suppliers have put in to improving service, setting them back to where they were a couple of years ago."
