npower has launched a new reward offer which gives Barclaycard Freedom customers the potential to collect Reward Money, an incentive perhaps to switch energy supplier.

npower Barclaycard Freedom Reward MoneyThe standard sign-up incentive offer for Barclaycard Freedom customers signing up to npower for both electricity and gas is £30 (£15 per fuel). This offer has been doubled to £60 (£30 per fuel) for a limited period of time: from 17 March to 17 May 2010.

There’s also a £100 annual loyalty payment for both new and existing npower customers paying by monthly direct debit for both fuels meaning up to £160 of Reward Money can be earned in a year.

Barclaycard Freedon launches in March and offers a rewards progamme to many small and medium sized retailers for the first time. In addition to encompassing household names, including npower, over 30,000 retail outlets have been invited to be part of the scheme at launch.

Sarah Newman, Managing Director of Barclaycard Freedom, comments: “Barclaycard Freedom incorporates all of the best elements of a rewards scheme with no vouchers or coupons to collect and no points to calculate – the rewards are quite simply in pounds and pence. Offers like npower’s – the first of its kind in the Barclaycard Freedom scheme – give customers a new way that they can build up their reward balance.  We hope that customers enjoy spending their Reward Money.”

As well as providing the opportunity to earn a bonus such as that offered by npower for Barclaycard Freedom customers, switching energy supplier really can save you money – and it’s easy, easier than you might imagine.
