British Gas launches WebSaver 6

British Gas has launched its new WebSaver 6 tariff, following the announcement it is cutting its standard gas prices by an average 7%.

British Gas have now launched WebSaver 12 which whilst more expensive than WebSaver 11 still maintains British Gas in the number one spot for online energy tariffs.

Update Aug 2010: British Gas have now launched their Websaver 9 energy plan which offersa minimum 6% discount against the British Gas standard tariff rates until 31 October 2011.

This announcement makes British Gas the cheapest electricity and combined fuel provider across the UK.
The new WebSaver 6 energy plan, replacing the WebSaver 5, is the cheapest tariff in the market in 10 out of 14 regions.
