British Gas launches WebSaver 6

British Gas has launched its new WebSaver 6 tariff, following the announcement it is cutting its standard gas prices by an average 7%.

Update Aug 2010: British Gas have now launched their Websaver 9 energy plan which offersa minimum 6% discount against the British Gas standard tariff rates until 31 October 2011. You can get all the details on the British Gas website.

This announcement makes British Gas the cheapest electricity and combined fuel provider across the UK.

The new WebSaver 6 energy plan, replacing the WebSaver 5, is the cheapest tariff in the market in 10 out of 14 regions.
